What is a sexual crime?
It’s crime against the body. It includes various types of crimes such as;
(a) Sexual harassment
(b) Voyeurism
(c) Stalking
(d) Rape
Sexual Harassment – sec 354 A
Sexual harassment is unexpected, uninvited, and unwelcome behaviour by a person who intends to outrage the modesty of a woman or compel her to be naked. One can sexually harass a woman in various ways such as; physical contact, the demand for sexual favour, showing pornography against the will of a woman, making sexually coloured remarks etc…

Voyeurism
Voyeurism is also a form of sexual crime where one is getting pleasure by the secretary watching somebody having sex or taking off his clothes.
If one is found capturing someone’s photos or filming him/her and disseminating those photos where victims expect to have some privacy and not be observed by anyone is part of Voyeurism.
Stalking – sec 354 D
If any man follows a woman and contacts her to foster personal interaction repeatedly despite the clear disinterest by the woman is a crime of Stalking…
If any man texts a woman continuously on any social platform such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and so on but she doesn’t reply to you even once is part of Stalking…
Rape – sec 375
Rape is nothing but forceful and violent sex without girls’ consent or will.
If any man is guilty of manipulating women’s body or penetrat of his penis or applying his mouth to her vagina, urethra or anus will amount to Rape
[Exception – Medical procedure]
Condition
(a) against her will
(b) against her consent
(c) women under 18 years ( whether there’s a consent of that girl; however, it’ll amount to Rape)
(d) with consent (If she has fear of death)
(e) with consent ( If she misbelieves the man as her husband)
(f) with consent ( If the woman is intoxicated)

What causes Rape?
There are various reasons that cause Rape but some of the most important reasons are as following;
(a) Wrong mindset and mentality
(b) Lust
(c) Lack of morality.
(d) Lack of Education on Porn and its impact on real life.
(e) Lack of fear of not getting punishment. etc…
Why our judicial system is very slow and sluggish?
They’re numerous causes for it but the major causes are as following
(a) To fill up the vacancies of judges not only in the High court but also in the Supreme court
(b) Timely and effective implementation of laws that are made by our legislatures
(c) To transform some of the things from offline to online for speedy disposal of cases.
(d) To raise your voice against the crime one is committing before it’s too late.
The Indian government has already taken some of these steps to strengthen our legal systems and some of them are to be taken. If these reforms will be strengthened then
We’d be seeing a massive improvement in the crime index and would be able to improve our cost of living.
