से meaning in English

 

• To (से) – Passive  Voice  में , यहाँ Known (V₃ ) के ठीक बाद use हुआ है। 

E.g.- He is known to me. ( वह मुझसे जाना जाता है।)

 

• From(से)- 

(a) अलगाव होने पर

E.g.– Leaves shed from the tree. (पेड़ से पत्तियां झड़ गये)

(b) Starting Time के पहले

E.g.- Ramjan will start from 25^th July this year. (रमजान इस साल 25 जुलाई से शुरू होगा।)

(c) Starting Place के ठीक पहले

E.g. – This train starts/runs from Dhanbad. (यह ट्रेन धनबाद से शुरू होती है।)

 

• Of (से)- अप्रत्यक्ष या अंतःकारण के ठीक पहले

E.g. He died of cancer. (उसकी मृत्यु कैंसर से हुई।)

He was tired of walking. (वह चलते-चलते थक गया था।)

 

• With (से)- किसी का साथ/सहायता का भाव रहने पर अथवा Instrument के पहले

E.g. Students go to school by bus. (छात्र बस से स्कूल जाते हैं।)

By taxi, by ship, by boat, by train, etc…

अपवाद- on a Bicycle, on a bike, in a car, etc…

 

• Than (से) -Comparative Degree  के बाद

E.g.- You are taller than I. (तुम मुझसे लम्बे हो)

 

• Through (से) – आकाशीय या वायुमंडलीय माध्यम रहने पर

E.g.- (a) Dew-drops fall through the sky. (ओस की बूंदें आसमान से गिरती हैं।)

(b) H₂S is passing through the gas tube. (H₂S गैस ट्यूब से होकर जा रही है।)

 

• Over (से) – गतिशीलता रहने पर

E.g.- she jumped over the running train. (वह चलती ट्रेन से कूद गई।)

 

• For (से) – Period of time के ठीक पहले (Perfect Tense /Perfect Continous Tense में)

E.g.- My friend has been suffering from a fever for the last five days. (मेरा दोस्त पिछले पांच दिनों से बुखार से पीड़ित है।)

• Since (से) – Point of time के ठीक पहले (Perfect Tense /Perfect Continous Tense में)

E.g.- She has known me since February. (वह मुझे फरवरी से जानती है।)

 

से का use Phrase में

 

• From  ……..  to (से  …… तक ) –

E.g. –

(a) This train runs from Dumka to Ranchi. (यह ट्रेन दुमका से रांची तक जाती है।)

(b) The crusad continued 0n from the 6^th century A.D. to the 14^th century A.D. (धर्मयुद्ध 6वीं शताब्दी के ए.डी. से 14 वीं शताब्दी के ए.डी. तक जारी रहा।)

 

• Of (में से) –  संख्या सूचक Phrase में :

E.g.-

(a) One of the boys (लड़कों में से एक)

(b) Most of the days (अधिकांश दिन)

(c) Either of the boys (लड़कों में से कोई भी)

(d) Neither of the two boys (दोनों लड़कों में से कोई भी नहीं)

(e) Any of the three boys members (तीन लड़कों में से कोई भी सदस्य)

(f) None of the five members (पांच सदस्यों में से कोई नहीं)

(g) Some of the boys (लड़कों में से कुछ)

 

• Out of (से बाहर ) –

E.g. –

(a) She came out of the car. (कार से बाहर)

(b) Out of the limit (सिमा से बाहर)

(c) Out of the control (नियंत्रण से बाहर)

(d) Out of Station (शहर से बाहर)

(e)Out of door (घर से बाहर)

(f) Out of order (अवय्वस्तिथ)

(g) Out of sight (नजरों से औझल)

(h) Out of danger (खतरों से बाहर)

 

• Beyond (पर/से)-

Out of danger = beyond danger

Out of the control =beyond the control

Out of sight= beyond sight

Out of the limit= beyond the limit
